Bill Rinner joined Apollo in 2020, where he is responsible for managing a variety of legal regulatory matters. Previously, he served as the Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. Prior to joining the government, Mr. Rinner was an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he specialized in antitrust and competition law, and at Kellogg Huber Hansen Todd Evans & Figel PLLC, where he practiced litigation and regulatory law. Mr. Rinner graduated from Yale Law School with a J.D. and from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Economics. Following law school, Mr. Rinner clerked for Judge Richard Posner on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
