Henson Orser has been a senior executive in financial services for over twenty-five years. Most recently Henson was President and Acting CEO of Komainu, next generation custodian for digital assets. Komainu is a collaboration between Nomura, Coinshares and Ledger. As such, he helped hire a senior management team and worked on navigating Komainu’s regulatory position including VASP registrations in London and Dublin, as well as an MVP license in Dubai; and successfully raised a Series A funding round led by Brevan Howard, Galaxy Digital and NOIA. Prior to that, he was a senior executive for Nomura Securities and was a member of both the Wholesale Executive Committee as well as the Global Markets Executive Committee. Prior to Nomura, Henson held a number of senior roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland in the Global Markets Division. Henson also has been on the Board of both Autism Speaks as well as The Winston Preparatory School. He graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Economics and Political Science.
