Joon Kim is a Board Member and General Counsel for the Mina Foundation, the public benefit corporation serving the Mina Protocol. Previously, Joon was the General Counsel for Terra - a decentralized algorithmic stablecoin project - until early 2020.  Before that he was Assistant General Counsel and Vice President at Goldman Sachs for three years, advising its asset management division. After graduating from Cornell Law School and New York University with distinctions, he started his career at international law firms, including Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He is an adjunct professor at Cornell Tech teaching blockchain business and law.
