Kate Eyerman is the BSA/AML and Sanctions Officer at Paxos where she is responsible for overseeing and implementing the AML and Sanctions compliance programs. Prior to joining Paxos, Kate was the Director for Sanctions Program Risk at Scotiabank where she oversaw the Bank's policies, procedures, training and communication, risk assessments, and reporting on all sanctions-related issues.
Before joining the private sector, Kate served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. State Department where she held a number of national security roles in the U.S. and abroad, including efforts to develop and implement policies related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and U.S. sanctions.
Kate holds a Masters Degree in Arab Studies from the Georgetown University Graduate School of Foreign Service, as well as a B.A. from Northwestern University.
