Paul Balzano has served as a professional staff member for the House Committee on Agriculture since 2014. His portfolio includes derivatives, digital commodities, and rural energy and development. He has contributed to numerous legislative initiatives, including the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act, the Digital Commodity Exchange Act, and the 2018 Farm Bill. Prior to his time at the Committee, he served in the personal offices of Congressman Mike Conaway and Congressman Sherwood Boehlert. Paul is a 2005 graduate of the University at Buffalo.
