Richard Jackson currently serves as the Oklahoma Deputy Attorney General for Cybersecurity, Technology, and Digital Assets, acting as the subject matter expert on cybersecurity policy, regulation, and compliance; innovation and entrepreneurism facilitation; and the digital assets industry. Jackson also currently serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as part of the Marine Innovation Unit Technology Branch as a Liaison Officer for commercial engagement in dual use technology applications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and energy management Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma, A Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama, and several cyber security industry certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.
