Tyler is presently Head of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs & Regulatory Counsel at Galaxy Digital, where he leads Galaxy’s policy development, regulatory engagement, and communications with the public sector. Prior to joining Galaxy, Tyler ran his own consulting firm and was an advisor to a fintech consulting firm in Washington. Tyler previously spent 10+ years in senior roles in the government, including in the House, Senate, and most recently at the Treasury Department where he was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Policy. Prior to government service, Tyler worked in buy-side research covering a variety of issues ranging from housing finance, payments, and tech incubation at banks and insurance companies. Tyler holds a BA in Economics from Kenyon College and a JD from George Washington University.
